Nature has the rare ability to inspire both calm and energy.
It is this very tension that we sought to capture in Alba’s cascade.
In “The Rapids”, the water is powerful yet soothing, loud yet meditative. It turns white as it meets the stone; sound emerges from friction; movement reveals the material. Understanding these phenomena—speed, turbulence, emulsion—allowed us to transform a physical reality into a sensory experience.
Our intervention focused on designing this cascade: observing life, analyzing its invisible logic, and then embedding this understanding into a precise hydraulic language. A dialogue between technical rigor and poetic intuition.
