Our intervention highlights the Mediterranean character of the project led by the landscape architects.
With the « Lavandes » fountains, we sought to capture an iconic sequence of the Provençal imagination, evoking the rows of flowers in spring.
To recreate the wave-like effect characteristic of lavender fields, we designed a custom water feature. The water brings a theatrical dimension to the space: the dynamic jets alternate gentle flow variations that invite play.
Our study also incorporated the preservation of the historical heritage of the Allées de la Liberté, including the restoration of the General-de-Gaulle Square fountain and the Lord Brougham basin, both listed in the general inventory of cultural heritage of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
