Hood Design Studio is leading the landscape transformation of Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. Their vision is rooted in honoring the legacy of San Juan Hill while empowering the local community to reimagine and reclaim this historic space in bold, meaningful ways. As part of this visionary project, JML brings its expertise in water feature design, contributing to the creation of an interactive fountain—a central and symbolic element of the park’s renewal. Here, water stands as a powerful metaphor, embodying the enduring connection between Lincoln Center and its community, while paying homage to the vibrant history and cultural heritage of San Juan Hill.
Through this collaboration, the fountain will not only enhance the park’s aesthetic and functionality but also invite engagement, reflection, and celebration, ensuring that Damrosch Park becomes a living testament to the past, present, and future of this iconic neighborhood.
